After watching the videos of herders, even they lived in different areas, they all witnessed the climate change affecting factors such as shortage of migration places, hay preparation, wild animals migration such as water rats. And they made it themselves to survive. But from your lecture, 2 things left inside me which are: Government statement regarding herders not ready for the dzud and insurance advertisements. Also, the question is still in mind: – what can we do at least to keep the traditional lifestyle- migration? Thank you teacher for the real interviews and discussions and your long-time dedication and surveys to the Mongolian herders. Unfortunately, I could not attend the online due to overwork.

For this movie, in my region (Mongolia) all available contents are not valid. I could not watch. But it was pinned on my list to watch. From the trailer, it might be interesting to explore different areas issues aligning with the mother and daughter relationship.

In my view, Mongolian herders are witnesses of climate change due to their lifestyles and nature connections. When Mongolians mostly travel to the countryside during summer times which are the great ones, we realized how they work hard to preparing the coming harsh winter by their limited financial supply in order to survive. One of my relatives is still herder and told me that behavior Changement of livestock. Also, I am volunteering at an air pollution NGO now, more I searching more I realizing climate change can affect people’s behavior especially air pollution not only livestock and wild animals. I think it is an interesting one to we can focus on regarding climate change factors.
